Bisco asked Factors to create a dispensing device that would convey the high quality of their various surgical chemicals.  This dispenser had to be very accurate, and factory adjustable for different chemical ratios.

  Process:  Many holding schemes were considered from pistol style to staple style.

Process:  Handmade white models helped Bisco choose an architecture.

  Process:  Initial sketches included exploration in simplifying the mechanism as well as ergonomic handle studies.

3D: The form and interaction was evolved in CAD.

     Internationally Patented   This device has been patented for its mechanism in the USA and European markets.  When the button is pushed, a .006” flat spring moves forward the main drive rack .012” at very precise increments.  There are four patented mechanisms in the device.
